Welcome to my site. After I lost everything from my previous ID, I need to make this one again from stretch. Its really annoying to loose such an important site. Hope I could build a better one from the earlier in this one.

Before moving any further, Let me introduce myself.

Introduction

I am a native of Kolkata, stays in Bagbazar. I am a cool guy love to look for new stuffs that tends to increase my knowledge base. Professionally, I am an MCA (Master of Computer Application). I find interests on the things that relates to grow my carrier in full extent. I am also fond of writing and also helping others in their needs. I am working with a company called BuildFusion Inc. Mainly I do programming on C# and ASP.NET but as per requirements, I have also done some of my softwares on VB.NET and Windows CE for Devices as well. All of them belongs to .NET. Even though I know other languages a bit too, my workplace needs me to work in .NET and SQL Server. I am comfortable to those and dont want to switch over to JAVA or any other languages.

Future Plans:

I want to do OCA, the Oracle Certification for DataBase Administration. I know quite a bit of DBA part of Oracle and also have knowledge on Oracle Architecture, PL SQL stuffs etc. On the other hand, I mainly work in SQL server, and also learning a bit of them too.
Next thing that I want to do is certification on .NET. As my main work field relates to .NET, I am fond of doing Certification on those too.
Know languages well to become a real programmer.
Gather knowledge on all aspects. Want to work in all type of platforms.
And also to become a good human being.

Technology

Technology leads the whole world. Commonly nowadays the name computer comes first in mind when we say about technology. We the people have made machines to lead the life. Computers are now used everywhere to automatize the Business, Agriculture, Activities, scientific research and many more. Man are making programs to computer even from their basic needs to Geographical Forecasting. Softwares are the programs that helps man to make their needs come true.

We the people of Softwares are also a part of Technology. India being 3rd world country, are the servers of the 1st world countries like USA. Softwares built here are transported to the American companies for money.

Achievements

Well from my childhood, I find interests on Computer Softwares. I have made lots of things on fundamental programming languages. I am posting all of them in this column. If you find them handy please let me know.

KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati) - During my early days I have made lots of projects in C. But most importantly, the one that I want to add on is the Kaun Banega Crorepati Game. Its an interesting game after its popularity in Star Plus, where the host asks for a set of 15 questions where each question earns you some amount of money. I have made one game that is very similar to this using C. Please take a look at the program here.
DOS-Paint - A mouse program that can draw freehand drawing over the console window. I have made this program to save the image created to a .PIX file which holds pixel informations over a file using C. Check this program Here.
The Quizzing Game - This program is almost similar to the one KBC. I have fixed some of the concepts that went wrong with KBC and made the all new Game using C++. It uses file handling for its questions, so that once you added questions it would be available forever. Also it has two parts, one for Maintenance and another for Playing. The maintenance part is restricted with password. Once you get into it, you can add, alter or delete question from the four sets of questions available. Check out this game from Here.
Library Management System -This is another program to implement Library Management System using VB.NET and Oracle. Well, this is the priliminary program that inputs data to the database and also shows reports on them. Check out more from here.

Here is one of my snapshot. It is taken by my friend Santu in one of a room of Our College. I have studied in JIS College of Engineering under West Bengal University of Technology. I have done my Masters from this college. Formerly I have done my Graduation from Calcutta University under Vidyasagar college situated at Amharst Street in Central Kolkata. I have majors in Economics in my Graduation.

Use GMAP to enhance your WebSite: Gmaps are provided by Google is a good product to locate oneself in map. I have gave you all the easiest code to build your own GMAP which will show a GPS location through only specifying latitude and longitude. This product is easy to use. The only thing you need is some basic knowledge on JAVASCRIPT.
Expanding Image Animation: This one is a tricky animation that you can easily place in your website. This animation will grow your images which produces preview of images from thumbnail to actual size on mouse hover.
Use Isolatedstorage : This article will give you the idea of the possible places that you can use to hide files. IsolatedStorage is a special area where you can store data and which cant be found from other applications. Get all info about this from my article.
Code Security : Coding protection is the most important thing in .NET architecture. Breaking logics from Code and getting secured entries is the most important threats of today. Many complex algorithms that we make to secure our application can be cracked very easily using some disassembler tools in .NET. In this article I have made a demonstration of Obfuscation tool that may lead to make the disassembling a bit harder. This article has won the Best Artcile Award from Codeproject for August 2008.
